If it was emergency treatment and you took the drugs yourself, then that is a different scenario. I have gotten medical advice and have had to sign in and out of the ER on some major pain meds due to migraines (I had a responsible adult to drive me) and it was all good and legal. They gave me printed out information and follow up instructions in case I was too loopy to remember what they told me. You really need to provide more information about your situation in order for anyone to really answer you accurately. You could try re-posting this in the legal section, you may get much better advice! What kind of documents?
