  10. trueconservatie33 says:

yeah but honestly if heroin is legalized, i dont think anyone would actuall want to try it. what he want do is get the profit motives out. YOu do know all the drug lords in mexico is paying for our legistlation on drugs!

  11. whittvet says:

I think that you are misunderstanding him. What he wants to do is return the education system back over to the states and individual school districts. Ever since the creation of the Department of Education the standards have dropped and quality has become dismal at best. We need public schools because it is in societies best interest to have an educated public. Its just a question of who is best suited to deliver that education, the local parents and teachers or Washington?

  12. erwintommy says:

There are people galore in this country who think everyone wears the same size shoes.

  13. erwintommy says:

there are folks behind the scenes we never hear about who are getting and have gotten-incredibly filthy rich off of drug importation. We can begin with oil, believe it or not. Cannot detect opium in oil from the Middle east. And you might ask:”BUT WHY?!?!” WEll, if you could double or triple your assets-wouldn’t you?

  14. erwintommy says:

the government has ignored the constitution in various ways going way back -ask the Sioux, the Cherokee and so forth. If i understood President Grant correctly, he considered these peoples to be under “one nation under God” but in any case, I feel the constitution factually-historically-is something the government would just as soon do without, unless it’s someone like Clinton hiding behind the 5th amendment-where all of a sudden-how about that-the constitution iS real after all!

  15. erwintommy says:

The problem is the constitution is being IGNORED-it doesn’t need “change” -it needs adherence. It restricts government excesses and the government predictably doesn’t like it!

  16. KaptainChronic69 says:

Ron Paul is an irrisponsible prick. Im for marijuana legalization, but u wanna legalize crack, meth & heroine? These drugs cause people to hurt each other. Use your fucking heads people.

  17. amangne12 says:

    he’s just fishing for votes

  18. ab1tchslap says:

That would probably be a good thing though.

  19. JKwingsfan says:

Interesting title. I wasn’t aware Ron Paul was on drugs.

    (ambiguous pronoun)

  20. thawhiteazn says:

I love Ron Paul. I want to have his babies

  21. djslay34982 says:

he was too radical. I agree with him on some points but he wants to get rid of the department of education. close public schools.

  22. whittvet says:

They are interpreted, however more often than not, it is completely ignored. The Federalist papers and the letters of intent were suppose to be used as a guideline. We also have the amendment process. I do not use drugs, but I also see the futility in attempted enforcement of a personal habit.

  23. ShasoDnarb says:

Aye, I’ve taken something of a gander, needless to say. Truth be told, the primary concern I have with the constitution is that it’s supposed to be binding… any set of laws that is not treated by the interpreting judiciary as a guideline is a concern on a very fundamental level, imho.

  24. whittvet says:

The constitution does not need to be changed; just the government. They have ignored our constitution. I do not know if you have read our constitution, but i encourage you to. It is not very long and you will be able to see just how much our government has ignored it. The constitution does not allow for an empire. Thanks for taking an interest.

  25. ShasoDnarb says:

As a casual Canadian observer, I’ve found that I actually don’t mind this fella’s politics. Too bad that there seemed to be so much resistance to him, from all sides. I look forward to the day when the American government system and their constitution is changed to better reflect international humanist – and not nationalist – ideals.
